Anti-abandonment child car seats become compulsory in Italy
Starting from today November 7th, it is compulsory to use special car seats when travelling with young kids in the car. The seats, which set of an alarm if the child is left alone in the car, are compulsory for the children up to the age of 4.
Parents found not using the alarmed seats face a fine of up to €326 plus five points on their driving license, according to the new law.
In case you don’t want to replace the child car seat, you can purchase a device that will alert you in case the child is left unattended in the car.
