A long tradition that has crossed different ages and countries moving horses, trucks, packages and people – and everything that was part of their world. Our history started in Turin in 1890 when Francesco Vinelli decided to leave the well-established family business to start up his own.He was later joined by his cousin, Scotto.Vinelli & Scotto, specialised in transport and shipping services, was established.
Vinelli's daughter Claudina succeeded him at the beginning of the 1930s becoming one of the few businesswomen of her time. With steadfast determination, she led the company through the difficult years of the war and the reconstruction after the bombings. After the war, the company chose to successfully shift the focus to removal services. Vinelli & Scotto returned to female hands in the 1990s when Renata and Laura Busettini inherited the business from their father Ottavio Busettini. They continued the internationalisation process, developed the corporate image and added relocation services to the core business. In the 2000s, V&S became the one-stop shop for Italian and international multinationals to assist their personnel and customers for their international mobility. In 2022, V&S was acquired by Fercam, the Italian logistics giant, which, with this takeover, following the acquisition of GONDRAND in 2013, completed its package of highly specialised services, presenting itself to customers as a single, multi-specialised interlocutor. Thus is born the Business Unit with the widest representation in Italy for international mobility.
